The Ternium Industrial Center stands out as one of the world's most advanced industrial complexes. This expansion marks Ternium's most significant investment project to date, including the establishment of a hot-dip galvanizing line expected to be operational by the end of 2025.

The line will annually produce 600,000 tons of hot-dip galvanized steel, used in various strength classes for diverse industrial sectors such as the automotive industry, renewable energy, construction, and agriculture.

The decision to collaborate with DUMA-BANDZINK for this project is grounded in the last reference of the previous brownfield project, modernizing the Air-Knife at Ternium Monterrey's G4U line. The established presence in the Mexican market and the ongoing service partnership between Ternium and DUMA-BANDZINK have further strengthened the customer relationship. Additionally, a successful partnership with the major plant builder Fives has been established, leading to the realization of this new project.

The line will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Integrated Solution (Air-Knives System) and comprehensive bath equipment. Installation is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.

This project represents a significant milestone for DUMA-BANDZINK as it is our first greenfield project in Mexico and will be another key reference for the Mexican market.
